1:1 Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time 1:1 teacher, to work with a SEND student with EAL. This role will start in September and will likely last for the full academic year. Payment for this position will be scale to the main teaching pay scale, and will be between £153.85 to £211.96 per day. This may change depending on any changes to the main teaching pay scale in the new academic year.

This role will involve teaching a student a range of subjects including: Maths/Numeracy, English/Literacy, Life skills, Humanities, etc. You will work with and adapt resources to ensure that the students needs are met, and discover innovative ways to foster progress and confidence. More details about the exact need of the student can be discussed via phone call. Ideally we are looking for a candidate that has experience working with SEND students, but Primary Specialists will be extremely suitable for this position as well.

Located in Hull, the school is easy to access and has an onsite car park that is free to use and always has spaces. The school is part of a small, local academy trust. They have a truly exceptional SEND provision, led by an experienced head of department.

Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College. You will be put onto all of the same CPD as permanent staff members, and encouraged to grow. This may include specialist SEND training and phonics training.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

• Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience working within schools in the UK.
• Has experience teaching SEND students or primary school students
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the full CV History
• Legal right to work in the UK
