1:1 SEN Support Assistant - KS3 - Southwark

Location: Southwark, South East LondonStart Date: September 2025Contract Type: Full-time, Monday to FridayHours: 8:30am - 3:30pmPay Rate: £110 per day

Job Description:Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to work with a Key Stage 3 student at a secondary school in Southwark. This full-time position is available from September and offers the opportunity to make a real impact in a student's school experience.

The Role:

• Providing tailored one-to-one support to a KS3 student with special educational needs

• Supporting the student both in and outside the classroom to aid engagement and progress

• Working closely with teaching staff and the school's SENCO to implement support strategies

• Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting social and emotional development

• Monitoring progress and reporting regularly to staff and parents

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with students with SEN, ideally in a secondary setting

• Strong understanding of the needs of students with ASD, ADHD, or other learning difficulties

• Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with young people

• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

• Available full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 3:30pm
