Hanwha Vision America (HVA) is seeking a Compliance Manager to develop, review, and update compliance polices and procedures. As the Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for developing risk assessment policies to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices and to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee and monitor the implementation of compliance programs and conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and compliance policies.
- Develop and provide effective compliance training to new hires and employees as necessary, and provide clear and effective guidance and support to employees across departments to ensure understanding and adherence to compliance programs.
- Handle, manage, and respond to compliance requests, inquiries, and/or reports in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and compliance policies and procedures.
- Review investigation reports and provide guidance throughout the investigation process or act as an investigator or co-investigator as appropriate.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to General Counsel and/or Compliance Committee, attend Compliance Committee meetings, and record meeting minutes, including the Compliance Committee's decisions.
- Analyze and research laws and regulations that may impact the company and stay current with those laws and regulations and industry standards.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Five years of experience in compliance, risk management, audits, or a related compliance role
- Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills with the ability to interact and collaborate effectively across departments
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to travel as matters deem necessary (less than 10% of time)

- CCEP or other certifications that demonstrate knowledge in compliance and ethics.
- CIPP/US or other certifications that demonstrate knowledge in data privacy laws.
- AIGP or other certifications that demonstrate knowledge in AI governance and AI laws.
