What You Will Bring to HIFI

As a key member of the Compliance team, you will support the development and execution of a best-in-class compliance program and collaborate cross-functionally to drive the companys growth and risk management strategy. You will report directly to the Head of Financial Crime Compliance.

• Serve as a core contributor to the ongoing enhancement and implementation of the firms compliance framework.
• Analyze business activities, policies, and product offerings to ensure adherence to BSA/AML, OFAC, and other applicable regulations.
• Develop and iterate on internal procedures for KYC, KYB, and AML operations based on data-driven insights and regulatory best practices.
• Oversee regulatory compliance programs and support the preparation and management of examinations and audits.
• Liaise with financial partners and regulatory bodies to maintain strong governance and oversight.
• Monitor and assess emerging regulatory trends and ensure timely updates to internal controls and processes.
• Play an active role in firmwide risk assessments and control testing initiatives.

What You Will Bring to HIFI

• Bachelors degree required; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g. CAMS) a plus
• 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk, or financial crime roles within a bank, fintech, or regulated financial services company
• Deep understanding of domestic and global financial regulatory environments, including BSA/AML, OFAC/sanctions, and money transmission requirements
• Strong investigative, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and collaborate cross-functionally
• Based in the U.S. and authorized to work in the U.S. NYC based is a requirement

We have no hard roles about in-person work, however most of our company works together in our Flatiron office and recognizes it allows us to move faster.
