The Facilities Management unit of the Division of Facilities and Services is seeking applications for a Zone Maintenance Assistant Director. About the opportunity: Oversight of all trades supervision for the Zone Shops and Maintenance Planning group for Facilities Management Maintenance Division on a day to day basis. This includes but is not limited to: providing leadership for planning, scheduling, supervising and inspecting the work of crews engaged in the maintenance and repair of over two billion dollars of University assets. Assists in the development of specifications for purchase of materials and equipment or for contract services. Assists in planning, estimating and maintenance cost controls of maintenance jobs. Checks maintenance projects for progress and conformance to work plans and orders, tracking time, material and equipment records and compiling detailed reports.
