The Zamboni Operator will work on both the Angel Of The Winds Arena ice sheet and the Community Ice Rink Sheet.This role pays an hourly rate of $22.Benefits for PT roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.Responsibilities

• Provide optimal ice conditions for all ice events.
• Responsible for occasional maintenance and repair of rink equipment to include, but not limited to: Zamboni, dasher system, subfloor, tempered glass, acrylic glass, safety netting, Jet Ice systems, edgers, goal nets, etc.
• Proper documentation of maintenance and ice measurements.
• Assist with ice installation and removal.
• Assist Operations department to expedite event conversions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an operator for Zamboni Ice Resurfacing preferred
• Experience with heavy machines ins a plus
• Solid understanding of OSHA rules and regulations
• Must be comfortable working in very cold or for long periods of time
• Must be able to stand, bend and stoop for long periods of time
• Must be able to climb stairs/ladder
• Ability to adhere to building policies and event requirements
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions as well as communicate effectively with other in both oral and written form
• Must be able to work irregular hours to include early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
