Youth Sports Official - City of Louisville (Colorado) : Job Details

Under the supervision of the Sports and Athletics Supervisor, position is responsible for a variety of duties instructing or leading individuals in various leisure time activities. Programs include but are not limited to soccer, flag football, basketball, and other sports programs. To effect positive change in peoples life styles through exercise and wellness education. Possible hours are Friday 5-9 pm and Saturday 9 am-5 pm. Examples of Duties (The following duties are illustrative only and are not intended to be all, inclusive)Create a friendly welcome atmosphere in sports programs. Lead participants games. Monitor proper techniques and advise students. Create an environment of inclusion for all participants and develop sportsmanship behavior in participants. In working with young people, officials are expected to contribute to the development and educational experience of the participants while enforcing the policies and procedures of recreational Sports.
