Yardhorse Driver - 2nd Shift - MENARDS : Job Details

This position requires team members to efficiently move trailers around the facility to help prepare freight that is being transported to Menard, Inc. stores.BENFITS:* Profit Sharing* Store Discount* Insurance - Medical and Dental* 401(k)* Paid Vacations* Paid Holidays* Additional premiumpay for 2nd shift and weekends* Additional yard horse pay after initial training is completedPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:* Safely and efficiently move trailers to different areas of the facility* Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions while driving and operating equipment in order to ensure personal safety and the safety of others* Open and close swinging trailer doors.* Ensure proper freight securement of all loaded trailers* Ability to work accurately with numbers and perform simple mathematical calculations* Communicate with area supervisors using a yard management system to ensure proper placement of trailers* Perform pre-trip inspection on trailers* Perform safety check of tractor vehicle prior to operation* Basic mechanical skills.* Must possess a good driving record* Experience operating tractor/trailer or willingness to learn* CDL license a plus, but not a requirement* Enjoy working outdoors* Proof of valid driver's license
