Yard Material Handler I - Broadwind Energy : Job Details

Broadwind Towers & Heavy Fabrications is growing! We are hiring several Yard Material Handlers Level I. This role is responsible for the movement of materials between functions, departments and locations within the Broadwind campus. ? Level I Team Members must be certified and qualified in the use of certain equipment and movement of some materials both in the building and in the yard. Review work assignments to plan and coordinate. Prioritize workload so production needs are met Move materials in and around the yard, buildings or remote locations. Stack all materials neatly and in the correct location for all areas of facility. Pick up debris, garbage and scrap materials throughout facility when applicable Manage accurate record-keeping related to movement of materials. Perform daily maintenance and inspection of required equipment referencing the daily personal maintenance sheet. Perform start up inspection at the beginning of each shift.
