Director of Nursing / Wellness (Assisted Living) - Providence Place Senior Living : Job Details

Providence Place at the Collegeville Inn is seeking to recruit a dynamic individual to lead our team of nurses and caregivers. The Director of Nursing / Wellness oversees the Assisted Living department with the goal of providing a safe, homelike environment where residents can achieve and maintain their fullest level of wellness and function. Utilizes sound management principles to maintain a motivated and stable staff. Manages resident health and wellness through regular resident monitoring and communication to the resident care team. The Director of Nursing / Wellness is also involved in the hiring process and quality training of caregivers.Full Time Hours include: 8:30am - 5pm, Weekend/Holiday MOD rotation. Some evenings will be required.Critical Success Factors: Compassionate and empathetic in personal interactions. Effective oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills, including use of e-mail. Highly organized, ability to manage multiple priorities. Leadership skills that demonstrate ability to positively influence the behavior of others. Self-supervising and self-motivating with willingness to cooperate and to work as a team member. Adaptable and flexible. Demonstrates problem-solving ability.Minimum qualifications: Current Pennsylvania LPN License, RN License preferred. Minimum of one year experience in assisted living/personal care or health care. Prior supervisory experience in the health care environment strongly preferred.
