If you want to join a dynamic team, expand your knowledge and work alongside experienced and knowledgeable clinical staff then this is the opportunity for you!Type: Full TimeSchedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pmLocation: Brooklyn, NYPrimary Responsibilities:Prepares and positions patients for diagnostic imaging proceduresExplains procedures and process to patientsMoves imaging equipment into the specified position; determines exposure factors on the basis of height, weight, the portion of the body involved, and the degree of penetration required; and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce images of proper detail, density, and accuracyPractices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staffPerforms specialized and routine diagnostic radiology proceduresProcesses images and reviews them for proper identification and quality controlPrepares images for reading by the radiologist or requesting physicianPerforms routine maintenance, diagnoses malfunctions, and makes minor repairs on radiologic equipment, arranging for repairs as neededRequired Qualifications:License or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology in the state of New YorkAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certificationPreferred Qualifications:1+ years of experience working as a Radiologic TechnologistExperience with Epic EMR softwarePlease email: [email protected] $40-$43/hr
