X-RAY PROCESSOR - Howmet Aerospace : Job Details

Works independently under general supervision to process castings and prepare them for interpretation through radiographic film and digital radiography. X-Ray Processor may not move for two (2) years, unless movement is a promotion within the department. Must be able to work 12 Hour Days or Nights on a rotating shift. (2 on 2 off, 3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Using Computers (entering information, etc) Must be able to read and interpret Product Criteria (PC) and Activity Instructions (AI). Must be able to function as a member of a team and be able to work under general supervision. Must be able to maintain expected quality levels. Work requires basic skills in reading, writing and math plus the use of fractions and/or decimals. The ability to perform interpretive defect analysis, follow simple instructions and visual aids.
