WXAV Sports Director - Student Employment - Saint Xavier University : Job Details

The Sports Director is in charge of all sports programming that airs on WXAV 88.3 FM. The Sports Director oversees the WXAV sports schedule, arranges the producer schedule for WXAV and area high school sports broadcasts, and ensures that all broadcasts begin when they are advertised to begin. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The Sports Director ensures the on-air and internal promotion of all relevant SXU sports games and makes sure that there are always enough people to broadcast the games in accordance with WXAVs Sports Broadcasting Policy. The Sports Director is also in charge of all pre and post-game programming. The Sports Director works with the athletics department to have up to date roster information, and interviews with coaches and players for broadcast. The Sports Director is in charge of the official sports talk show on WXAV.
