The WXAV Program Director develops and implements station programming, included but not limited to music formatting, show scheduling, and public affairs programs. Supervises on-air staff, monitors station output for consistency and quality of product, and offers feedback. Enforces FCC and WXAV rules and regulations and assists the General Manager in all FCC logging requirements. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The Program Director organizes the on-air broadcast schedule for all WXAV employees and with the General Manager helps decides the overall strategy of the radio station. The Program Director leads and manages all aspects of the radio station with the full backing of the General Manager. The Program Director is also in charge of planning, managing, and executing promotional events, along with the rest of the management team.
