JOB SUMMARY AND DUTIES FOR WORKSTATION SUPPORT ANALYST:
The Client Health team within the Digital Workplace Services (DWS) department works exclusively within the Windows desktop environment and is responsible for supporting internal customers across multiple locations throughout the client's territory. The EUC (End User Computing) Engineering team (within the BPS team) includes dedicated resources to choose new desktops / laptops, base platform development, software packaging/distribution, and Group Policy management.
Serve as System Center Configuration Manager Administrator, responsible for performing all aspects of SCCM application packaging, deployment, support and maintenance of applications
- Extensive experience in the implementation, administration, configuration and support of SCCM Enterprise environment.
- Experience with desktop deployment automation architecture, design/migration and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing an OS image for large corporate environments.
- Knowledge of the Windows registry, interaction of drivers within the OS, and unattended/silent installs of Windows operating systems.
- Packaging, Deployment, and Administration of Packaged Applications
- Functional working and debugging knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Investigate, analyze and resolve technical issues and actively pursue mechanisms for preventing, or automating the response to reoccurrences.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE FOR WORKSTATION SUPPORT ANALYST:
- 3 years of experience in administrative, technical work which demonstrated the ability and aptitudes, required to perform technical or analytical work and coordination involving management information systems.
- SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: One year of related academic study above the high school level may be substituted for 9 months of experience up to a maximum of a 4 year bachelor's degree in a Business/Information Systems discipline for 3 years general experience.
