We are growing quickly and are looking for a Working Superintendent to join our team.

Position Overview

The Working Superintendent is a hybrid role that combines field supervision with hands-on trade work. You'll be the eyes and ears of the Project Manager on-site, responsible for directing labor, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining safety and quality standards, and stepping in to perform skilled tasks when needed. This role is ideal for a working leader who thrives in the field and takes pride in well-run, clean, and efficient job sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise on-site labor and subcontractors.
  • Monitor daily job progress to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to spec.
  • Perform skilled labor tasks when required to maintain schedules and quality.
  • Complete and submit daily logs (manpower, work progress, subcontractor performance, equipment, deliveries, safety notes, RFIs/issues).
  • Maintain jobsite cleanliness and enforce OSHA/company safety policies.
  • Read, interpret, and apply construction drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate material and equipment deliveries.
  • Represent the company professionally with clients, inspectors, vendors, and subs.
  • Track and verify punch list completion and final turnover quality.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of field experience in residential and/or commercial construction.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills in managing labor and subcontractors.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Hands-on trade ability to perform tasks when needed.
  • OSHA safety knowledge and ability to enforce compliance.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with construction management software.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $70,000.00 - $85,000/year
  • Company Vehicle: Ford F-250 provided for business use
  • Probationary Period: 60 days
  • Sick Time & PTO: Accrued in accordance with company policy (available after probationary period)
