Workforce Specialist/Job Coach (Citrus County) - Goodwill : Job Details

Responsible for instructing and coaching of vocational training programs and all Project SEARCH models, as assigned. In coordination with the Instructor, the Workforce Specialist provides training and support for student interns and host business mentors. Facilitates the training and integration of a student with disabilities in a worksite internship and/or competitive work environment. Identify student interns' strengths, interests and abilities related to career counseling, job development, and placement at host businesses or a community employer. Job development may occur with those successfully completing vocational programs. This includes making contact with, and building relationships with, community employers which leads to employment training opportunities or possible employment. This contact will be made through telephone calls, face-to-face appointments and appropriate social media platforms with the employers.
