Workday Developer - RIT Solutions : Job Details

Title- Workday Developer Contract 6+ months Location: Chicago Onsite Interview required Must have skills:

• 5-7 years of Workday- specifically Workday, not something similar.
• Both functional and technical- understands the finance side, understanding ledger accounts, etc.
• Experience implementing and/or optimizing the use of Workday Adaptive Planning, including collaborating and coordinating best practices with cross-functional stakeholders.

Job Description: Responsibilities:

• Manage the continuous development, optimization, and security of the Workday platform.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within Workday through regular audits and maintenance activities.
• Develop and generate meaningful reports and analytics to support business decision-making.
• Provide vision and oversight to departmental operations and initiatives related to Workday.
• Evaluate current system configuration and respond to requests or inquiries on system capabilities.
• Identify areas of improvement. Recommend, develop, and configure system solutions. Test new functionality and ensure successful implementation of new and improved solutions.
• Coordinate and participate in system upgrades and system testing to ensure functionality and security are working as expected/designed. Create detailed test plans, define various scenarios and execute test plans. Coordinates user acceptance testing and other testing with appropriate groups.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address data-related inquiries and resolve issues.
• Stay up-to-date with Workday updates and enhancements. Implement best practices accordingly.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Workday functionalities and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Finance/Accounting, or a related field.
• 7+ years' work experience, with a minimum of 4 years of FINs/Workday experience.
• Proficiency in Workday Reporting, Workday Security, Workday Business Process Framework and Workday Adaptive Planning
• Experience implementing and/or optimizing the use of Workday Adaptive Planning, including collaborating and coordinating best practices with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience diagnosing, isolating, and resolving issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Workday certification(s) are a plus.
