Women's Resident Counselor Assistant - Iowa Staffing : Job Details

A Siouxland non-denominational Christian ministry who has served the community for over 80 years is searching for a Women & Children Shelter Residential Counselor to join their team! The Women's Resident Counselor Assistant is responsible for providing daily devotions, conducting intakes with potential residents, overseeing the safety of all residents, communication, answering phones, and completing detailed forms. You must be willing to sign a Statement of Faith and a statement of Marriage and Sexuality.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily devotions
• Intakes
• Oversee the safety of all residents
• Supervise activities of women and children
• Answer calls and take detailed messages
• Complete daily forms

Requirements:

• Sign a Statement of Faith and Marriage and Sexuality
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Computer skills MS Office
• Effective communication
• Ability to work with people in a variety of circumstances
• Must uphold the standards and guidelines of the organization
