Women's Direct Care Staff - Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge : Job Details

To provide supervision to clients that ensures their safety and well-being; to assist clients in making choices that are in their long term best interests. This is an awake overnight position. Essential duties and responsibilities:Client Supervision:Lead and supervise clients in the short term program on the residential housing floor, and during all duties and activities during the course of the work shift. Overnight Staff: Ensure clients are sleeping and in their rooms, security checks, assist clients who are having trouble sleeping. Minimum Qualifications: Documented 1 year freedom from chemical use problems (including tobacco, drugs, alcohol). Strong ability to relate to and mentor people with life-controlling problems. Strong leadership skills (one on one and group situations). Ability to remain on task and follow through on multiple concurrent assignments with frequent interruptions.
