Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our HR department's daily operations and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a passion for employee relations, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. There could be opportunities for a hybrid role with in-person and remote support. Part time is also an option. Responsibilities include: * Achieve staffing needs and improve our recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews. * Maintain employee records and ensure data entry is accurate and up to date. * Support the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training. * Support the disciplinary process up to and including termination. * Communicate with Drivers about performance improvements and other coaching areas from operations. * Administer employee benefits programs and assist with FMLA documentation and compliance. * Provide guidance on conflict management and resolution within the workplace. * Collaborate on HR projects aimed at improving employee engagement and retention. * Stay informed about changes in employment labor laws to ensure company compliance. Must have Abilities or Experience: * Self-starter that is able to work independently and handle multiple priorities. * Managing hiring pipelines to achieve staffing. This includes managing the life cycle of a new hire from sourcing to onboarding. vNew hire orientation for compliance and safety training. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. * Knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations. * Strong data entry skills with attention to detail. * Maintain safety compliance through training, auditing and incident deep dives. Experience with root causing incidents a must. * Effective communication skills for interacting with employees at all levels of the organization. * Prior experience in conflict management. Preferred Abilities or Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. * Experience with Employee work tax credits (WOTC) a plus. * Experience with payroll processing and applicable software such as ADP.
