Job Location : Austin,TX, USA
**This is a contract role, anticipated to be 9-12 months in length based on project workflow. Contractor must be able to work hybrid, work onsite at Arm-Austin minimum two days a week. Visa and relocation are not offered for this opportunity.
We are looking Windows Platform engineer who can quickly develop a good understanding of the ARM IT infrastructure and the needs of the user base.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and responsibility in driving tasks to timely and full completion.
• Adhere to ITIL processes on a day-to-day basis, including Incident, Change, Problem, Request, and Knowledge management.
• Proficient in managing major Incidents (P1, P2, etc.) including escalation and problem resolution.
• Actively contribute to and take ownership of ongoing improvement and stability initiatives of Arm's IT infrastructure through automation.
• Enhance system monitoring and alerting to uphold the integrity of the live environment across multiple global data centers.
• Maintain and update key system documentation in line with changes made.
• Review and recommend improvements to policies, processes, and working practices, and ensure processes are adapted to meet evolving business needs by maintaining a Continual Service Improvement plan.
• Collaborate with Service Delivery Management and the global Service Desk to provide communications to all teams and the general user base for both planned and unplanned system outages.
• This role requires working in the US (Austin) time zone.
Responsibilities & Skills
Relevant technical accreditation or successful completion of vendor certified training in at least one of our key technologies (Microsoft Exchange Hybrid, Microsoft Identity Manager, Microsoft Server 2016 and 2019, AGPM and DSC, Microsoft SCCM, Azure, VMware, PRTG).
