On behalf of our client, BBSI is seeking a skilled Window and Door Installer to help deliver and install top-quality windows and doors. If you love working with your hands,solving problems, and making customers happy, this could be the perfect fit!Essential Functions and Duties:* Install replacement windows, door systems, insulated glass units, service parts and shower doors to the standards set forth by Mountain View Window & Door and manufacturer specifications.* Ensure all products installed and are in proper working order before leaving the jobsite.* Uses various hand and power tools to install products.* Vision to see the job, plan the course of work and safely execute the plan to maximize efficiency and productivity.* Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to coworkers with detailed notes on job completion forms.* Ability to determine priorities and organize work assignments for the best efficiency.* Confirm details of proposed installation with customer prior to starting installation and explain installation process in simple terms to establish trust and confidence with the customer.* Be a proactive problem solver. Successfully handle on-site issues, make decisions, solve problems, and create solutions.* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.* Stay up to date on installation techniques and product offerings.* Adheres to local building and safety codes and guidelines.* Paint trim prior to installation as needed.* Make jobsite deliveries with all products counted on the truck and counted off the truck.* Restock warehouse trim and products. Notify the office when products are low in inventory.* Ensure that tools and work-related equipment are kept in safe and good working order. Notify supervisor when a replacement is needed.* Take before and after pictures of all jobs.* Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:* Candidates must possess 1-2 years of experience in window and door installation or a related field.* Must possess and maintain a valid and insurable driver's license.* Participate in manually loading and unloading products by repetitive lifting of up to 90 lbs.* No fears of heights, working on ladders or roofs.* Proficient use of tape measure and all power tools.* Ability to work in a physically demanding environment year-round.* Able to work and think independently and ensure deadlines are met.Education and Experience:* High School diploma or equivalent required.Physical Requirements:* Prolonged periods standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.* Must be able to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment.* Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.* Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.Pay/Schedule:* $20.00-$25.00 an hour; DOE* Full time* Monday through Friday; 40 hours
