Will Call Attendant - Global Gaming LSP : Job Details

General Definition:* Promote positive customer relations by providing a full range of informational services to patrons upon entry to the facility in a friendly, professional manner.Essential Job Functions:* Greets customers upon entry to simulcast facility, grandstand, or any other designated area where customer's entry or patronage is required in a friendly, professional manner.* Furnishes information (both printed and verbal) regarding all customer-related services provided throughout the facility.* Provides direction to groups scheduled for specific events regarding all informational services and products.* Approaches all encounters with guest and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner.* Monitors guest for problems and reports any such findings to Department Manager.* Maintains and completes all opening/closing duties according to procedures set forth within the department.* Dependability, good attendance, and occasional overtime required.* May be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as scheduled.* Have the ability to accomplish a multitude of duties as assigned* Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation:* High school diploma or GEDKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:* Requires excellent communication skills, basic math and reasoning ability under extreme public scrutiny.* Detail-oriented and able to perform multiple tasks as assigned.* Excellent customer service and cash handling skills required.* Must be able to communicate fluently in English and to follow instructions as given.* Bilingual a plus.* Data entry skills a plus.Training:* 3 - 6 months of cash handling experience preferred.Licenses/Certifications/Other:* Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency, if applicable to perform the essential job functions.Physical Requirements:The physical demands and work environment characteristics described are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
