Position Type: Recreation/Wildcat Care After School Aide Date Posted: 8/25/2025 Location: Recreation Closing Date: Until Filled WILDCAT CARE AFTER SCHOOL AIDE Mechanicsburg Area School District is seeking Wilcat Care After School Aides for the 2025/2026 school year. This is a part-time, during the school year position. JOB SUMMARY: This individual will promote a positive and enriching after-school program experience for 4th and 5th grade students. They will be expected to always know the whereabouts of the students in their primary care group, engage with students during activities, and assist them with homework. They will assist the site supervisor with, but not limited to, preparing and executing daily activities and following state and local regulations. The individuals will possess a friendly and trusting demeanor and encourage open lines of communication with students and their families while promoting the mission, values, and beliefs of Mechanicsburg Area School District. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a minimum 18 years or older and possess a High School diploma or GED. Experience with working with children preferred. Any individual who is to be considered for employment must provide school district officials with a valid Criminal History Record Clearance form, a valid Child Abuse History Clearance form, FBI Clearance, Act 168 form(s), and an I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification) form.
