WI OR Surgical Tech, FT Monday-Thursday, 7am-5:30pm with call time rotation - A-Line Staffing Solutions : Job Details

Maintain a clean and sterile surgical environment, provide the surgeon with appropriate instrumentation and equipment, and assist the surgeon during procedures. Prepare the operating room for surgery. Keep records of use of Steam Sterilizer. Perform initial instrument, sharps, and sponge counts with the circulator. Keep the suture carts organized and watch expiration dates. Turn over rooms in between cases. Assist the team members with gowning and gloving. Assist with patient positioning pre-operative and transport patient from cart to bed and back. Stock adequate supplies for surgery. Perform other duties as requested. Critical Information Required qualifications to effectively perform job. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Education/ Licenses Needed High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Certified Surgical Technologist certification preferred. 1 years of related work experience preferred. BLS required.
