Wholesale Equipment Specialist - Gwequip : Job Details

The Wholesale Equipment Specialist is responsible for selling and acquiring excess and non-retail used equipment. This position will also be back up to support the retail used equipment efforts

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing sales reps with trade in numbers. May have to visit end user facilities to personally inspect larger trade in fleets
• Wholesaling equipment to various companies across the US, including independent forklift dealers.
• Monthly visits to all branch locations to confirm wholesale equipment status
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory in equipment management systems
• Prepare and send quotes, proposals, and follow-ups to internal and external wholesale customers
• Develop and maintain e-commerce platform for select used equipment
• Provide weekly status reports to direct manager on results, status of accounts and wholesale activity
• Update CRM with photos of used equipment
• Assist Used Equipment Manager with retail transactions when needed

Job Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service or equipment sales preferred
• Knowledge of material handling, heavy equipment or similar machinery is a strong plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Sugar)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data quality
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment
• Ability to drive across the Carolinas and Georgia to visit G&W's branch locations and customer facilities
