Location: Remote LA or NYC Job Description LA based Women's Young Contemporary Apparel company seeking a strong Wholesale Sales Rep. MUST HAVE CURRENT PRIVATE LABEL EXPERIENCE in Women's Apparel • 5-7 years experience in a related field CURRENT-experience with Young Contemporary and Women's Private Label. This position manages the business relationship between major accounts and the company. Prospective candidates should be comfortable growing a business and selling to Major Department Stores, online retailers as well as off-price accounts. Major Responsibilities: • Maintains and builds relationships with key decision-makers. • Reviews trends with buyers weekly. • Implements season profitability plans. • Review weekly sales performance. • Meet internal sales and margin goals monthly. • Influence company inventory. • Coordinate merchandising. • Communicate with all levels of customer service/production. • Ability to perform complex verbal and written communications face-to-face and in group settings. • Ability to work in a multi-task, high-pressure environment. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and time management skills essential. • Strong follow-up and completion skills. Experience Requirements: • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. • Proficiency with computer skills, including Microsoft Office Word and Excel. • 5-7 years experience in a related field CURRENT-experience with Young Contemporary and Women's Private Label. • Must have current sales relationships with retailers such as Chicos, Hollister, American Eagle, Macy's. Additional Information: This is a true sales role focused on private label products. The ideal candidate will have the ability to open new accounts and maintain existing relationships through hard work, knowledge, and consistency in getting the product in front of customers.
