Career opportunities range from heating and cooling mechanics to vehicle mechanics who service aircraft, wheeled and tracked vehicles, heavy equipment, and watercraft. Skills you'll learn align with Maintenance & Repairs, Electronic Troubleshooting, Electrical Systems. Additionally, there are nationally recognized certifications available to earn.

  • Tasked with ensuring the Army's vehicles and machines remain in proper working order
  • Inspect, service, maintain, repair, replace, adjust, and test wheeled vehicles, material handling equipment systems, subsystems, and components, as well as automotive electrical systems
Requirements for Success:
  • 10 weeks of Basic Training
  • 14 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
  • U.S. Citizen
  • 17 to 34 Years Old
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Meet Tattoo Guidelines
  • No Major Law Violations
  • No Medical Concerns
