We specialize in cost-effective, turnkey solutions for public and private infrastructure projects across Texas. Our services span from site investigation and value engineering to full-scale excavation and utility installation.We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pipelayer to join our wet utilities team. This full-time position plays a critical role in the accurate and efficient installation of underground piping systems including water, wastewater, and storm sewer lines.What you will do:
- Ensure trench is properly prepared and excavated according to grade and project specifications
- Verify trench bottom grade using appropriate tools such as a grade pole or laser level
- Shovel, level, and fine grade the pre-pipe bedding layer of gravel
- Assemble, connect, and install underground piping systems including sanitary sewer, water, and storm drainage
- Confirm proper pipe alignment and fit prior to backfilling
- Use a grade pole or laser level to verify that pipe is laid to correct grade
- Grade out top of the pipe bedding envelope and check gravel depth for compliance with job requirements
- Collaborate closely with equipment operators and other crew members to maintain workflow and site safety
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience installing underground utilities (water, sanitary, storm)
- Proficient in reading grade stakes and using a grade pole or laser level
- Strong knowledge of pipe materials, connections, and installation techniques
- Comfortable working in trench environments and around heavy equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must have a valid driver's license
