Responsibilities

The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) located on Keysight's campus in Santa Rosa, CA, provides high-precision mechanical solutions that enable Keysight's industry-leading electronic measurement equipment. The PMTC Wet Process and Assembly Process Engineering Manager is responsible for managing a diverse team of process engineers supporting chemical and mechanical fabrication processes, including Plating, Photochemical Machining, and Assembly. This team offers DFM consultation on microwave and mm wave design applications, facilitating their release into manufacturing by designing processes, tooling, and fixturing.

  • Manage employees responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship for team members.
  • Oversee resources to implement tactical business plans, programs, and projects.
  • Develop and implement solutions to departmental issues.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure a safe workplace.
  • Create short- and long-term personnel development strategies.
  • Lead cross-departmental projects.
  • Review, analyze, and approve process deviations as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant experience as a manager, supervisor, or individual contributor.
  • Proven skills in leading and managing process execution, projects, and tactics.
  • Understanding of manufacturing process design, development, and implementation.
  • Experience with continuous process improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
