BRONXVILLE, NY (LOCAL CANDIDATES) - Wonderful Westchester family seeks an experienced, mature, and fun-loving FULL-TIME LONG-TERM NANNY to join their family and help care for their 4-year-old son. They are looking for a warm, loving, and affectionate individual who can also be firm and set appropriate boundaries for their son who is very bright and strong-willed. Hours are Monday - Friday, from 11 am - 7 pm with the flexibility to alter hours from time to time, along with working late evenings and weekends when needed with plenty of notice.

The parents have different schedules - while the mother is a student and stays at home, the father works in the city and often travels for work. As the father is away from home frequently, the mother is seeking someone she can trust and rely on for help. They are looking for a nanny who is willing to travel with them and has a valid passport.

Their son attends school from 8:45 am - 2:30 pm. The family is seeking someone who can keep things organized and well-kept while their son is at school. Duties will include light housekeeping, running errands, organizing the child's spaces, doing the child's laundry, and dinner prep. They have a 9-year-old Beagle who they would like the nanny to take on short walks from time to time. The family will provide a vehicle for the nanny to pick up their son from school. Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience and a background in child development. They are seeking someone truly passionate about working with children who can help with their son's development and vocabulary. The family is looking for a fun, engaging, and active individual who can keep up with their son.

The mother and son share a very strong relationship and attachment. They are seeking someone who can help in creating healthy separation. Someone who understands that this will be a process and a transition for both mother and son. The perfect candidate is patient and gentle but confident in their approach to support this family. They are ultimately looking for the perfect person to become an extension of their family.
