Yellowstone National Park, a natural wonderland and the first national park in the world, boasts a dedicated team of professionals committed to managing and safeguarding the park's natural and cultural resources, ensuring a balance between conservation and visitor experiences. The park has a team of nearly 1,300 employees and volunteers. Working side-by-side with wildlife is not uncommon in Yellowstone, and the size and diversity of the park is sure to make for an interesting and fast-paced work environment.
This position is located in the North District of the park in Mammoth Hot Springs, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. Incumbent serves as the Wellness Program Coordinator of Yellowstone National Park. Incumbent is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating park-wide strategies and initiatives to support employee health, wellness, and resiliency for the Yellowstone team. Responsibilities will encompass coordination in the development and implementation of strategies to promote employee wellness for the betterment of each individual and the park. Provides program support to the Office of the Superintendent as well as each park division, with over 750 employees parkwide.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position at the GS-11 grade level, you must possess at least one or all of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service such as: Performing work that demonstrates specific knowledge of Health and Wellness principles; Developing wellness programs; Provides guidance regarding the legal and regulatory environment of the health management arena; Assists with creating, conducting and promoting Health & Wellness trainings.
EDUCATION: Successful completion of at least a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. You must include transcripts.
VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs.

To qualify based on education, you must submit a legible copy of transcripts from an accredited institution with your name, school name, credit hours, course level, major(s), and grade-point average or class ranking.
