Job Description: Responsible for the implementation and ongoing oversight of wellness and sports medicine related programs and initiatives to enhance patient care, improve access and increase volumes for orthopedic sports medicine. Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with associates and the community to understand wellness and sports medicine needs and wants for the community, create and develop programs to meet those needs, and implement those programs successfully. Day to day responsibilities include program execution and success, including implementation and promotion of wellness and sports medicine management programs, engagement of associates and community members, measurement and evaluation, marketing and communication, management of sponsorship funding, and event planning of wellness and sports medicine management programs.

Qualifications

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Nutrition, Public Health or health related field
  • Three years of experience in a sports medicine and/or wellness environment with proven program promotion experience.
  • Proven ability of taking a concept or idea and turning it into a successful reality.
  • Experience in development and program management.
  • Proven ability to deliver wellness and patient education and programming to motivate and engage individuals.
  • Proven success of partnering with community members, associates, and or physicians to build programming.
  • Experience in wellness and or sports medicine.
  • Role model for health and wellness.
  • Certified Diabetic Educator (Preferred)
  • Certified Health Coach
  • American College of Sports Medicine Certification

Sedentary work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs. force occasionally.

Pay Range

$24.03 - $36.59 / hour
