We're looking for a Welder & Fabricator to join our team and bring precision, skill, and dedication to every project. In this role, you'll work with a variety of welding processes and fabrication tools to build components that meet strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

🔧 Welding & Fabrication

  • Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and other welding processes on various metals.
  • Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using hand tools and fabrication equipment.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to complete accurate welds and assemblies.

🛠 Quality Control

  • Inspect completed welds and fabrications for defects and compliance with quality standards.
  • Correct imperfections and ensure all finished parts meet customer specifications.

⛑ Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.

🧰 Equipment Maintenance

  • Perform routine checks and minor repairs on welding and fabrication tools.
  • Keep equipment and workspace in optimal working condition.

🤝 Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with fellow welders, fabricators, and supervisors to complete projects.
  • Communicate effectively regarding work progress, issues, and solutions.

📈 Training & Development

  • Take part in hands-on training to enhance welding and fabrication skills.
  • Learn from experienced team members and take initiative to grow into advanced roles.

Your Profile / Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • Technical Proficiency in MIG, TIG, Stick, and other welding methods
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
  • Effective problem-solving and defect-identification skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Physically capable of handling heavy materials and standing for extended periods

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Vocational or technical training in welding and fabrication preferred
  • Basic experience with metalworking tools and machinery
  • Previous fabrication experience a plus, but entry-level candidates with strong motivation are encouraged to apply

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $22-$23 per hour. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.

The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
