We are looking for full-time Welders/Fabricators at our Tonawanda, NY location. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming raw materials into finished goods, using your skills in heavy industrial welding and fabrication to meet and exceed project specificationsResponsibilitiesInterpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine welding requirements. Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in compliance with safety standards. Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to project specifications. Primary welding processes performed MIG, TIG, Flux Core, RMD.Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning. Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify and repair defects. Cut and shape metal materials using various cutting tools such as plasma cutters and oxy-fuel torches. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve fabrication issues. Maintain accurate records of materials used and time spent on each project. Ensure work is completed on time and meets quality standards. Adhere to company and industry safety regulations during all welding and fabrication activities. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent.Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welder).Minimum of 1 year of experience in large industrial welding and fabrication.Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.Strong knowledge of metal properties and best welding practices.Experience with operating hand and power tools relevant to welding.Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and micrometers.Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.Physical stamina and the ability to work in various positions and environments.Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.Ability to lift heavy objects and materials as required.Competitive Benefits Generous paid time off as well as 80 hours of holiday pay each year.
