Weld Engineer - polaris : Job Details

Responsible for establishing and implementing the most cost-efficient methods for production. Plans and coordinates the activities necessary to produce specified products within safety, quality and cost standards. Leads a team of programmers to support and advance production. Also ensures schedule compliance. Location: Roseau, MN - Job Level: Individual Contributor. Responsibilities. Leads Robotics team in the Weld department. Lead planning and installation of welding equipment, including welders, robotics, jigs, vision systems, etc. Program robotic equipment including programming robotic equipment, Fanuc and Motoman a plus. Develops and maintains corporate welding procedures (WPS) and welder performance qualification and records (WPQ - Rs)Responsible for implementing/maintaining machine time as designed by manufacturing engineer.
