Weekend Warehouse Associate - SureStaff : Job Details

Surestaff is immediately hiring a Weekend Warehouse Coordinator for a large, well-known client in Pleasant Prairie, WI. As a Warehouse Associate for Surestaff, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including shipping and receiving, quality assurance, and inventory control.

Surestaff is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($18.50) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Shifts available include: 7am-7:30pm (Friday-Sunday).

Responsibilities of the Weekend Warehouse Coordinator:

• Pick, pull, and prepare orders while maintaining an organized shipping and receiving area.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments.
• Inspect inventory for defects.
• Load and unload pallets.
• Scan items into the inventory control system using RF Scanner.
• Utilize a forklift to handle products.
• Data entry and computer literacy.
• Safely & efficiently use warehouse equipment including pallet jack, hydraulic jack, RF Scanner, computers, and handheld printers.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and report any unsafe work area conditions.

Required Qualifications of the Weekend Warehouse Coordinator:

• Previous warehouse experience and/or training preferred.
• High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Data entry and computer literacy are required.
• Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
