About the Family & Role A warm, active family in New York City is seeking a friendly, engaging, and dependable Weekend Nanny to support their two children (an older girl and a younger boy, ages 12 and 10). This is a weekend-focused role with live-in accommodations provided while on duty, especially during summer months in the Hamptons or if the children remain at home while parents travel. The nanny will support a lively, positive environment for the children, balancing independence with gentle guidance. Responsibilities include driving in the Hamptons, preparing simple and healthy meals, helping with bedtime routines, and ensuring the kids' activities and social events run smoothly. Because the children are older, the emphasis is on creating a warm, respectful relationship and providing a fun, structured weekend rather than strict supervision. If you genuinely enjoy spending time with school-aged children/tweens, can help keep a weekend schedule running smoothly, and are ready to bring positive energy, strong communication skills, and genuine care to a welcoming family, we would love to hear from you.
