WE ARE LOOKING FOR A WEEKEND CARE PRO (THIS INCLUDES FRIDAY'S, SATURDAY'S & SUNDAY'S). MUST HAVE WEEKEND AVAILABILITY FOR MORNINGS, AFTERNOONS AND EVENINGS!!Welcome to Home Instead Trumbull, CT. We are looking for a caring, compassionate & dedicated Care Professional to join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical solutions that allow people to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, support and compassion.Duties include, but are not limited to:Assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, feeding)Experienced with cognitive impairment preferredCompanionship and conversationLight housekeeping tasks (vacuum, wet mop, dust, laundry, etc.)Meal preparationTransportationReminders (medication, appointments, etc.)Engagement of Functional Activities for Mind & BodyMust be dependable, possess an excellent attitude and the ability to follow instructions.Ability to treat seniors and their property with dignity and respectAbility to communicate with all team members of Home Instead, clients and their family members in a friendly and professional manner.Ability to adapt to various living environments and locationsRequirements for Care Professionals are:Drive to help Seniors thrive in the communityCurrent proof of negative TBAbility to lift, push or pull 25 poundsComplete a criminal background check, DMV check and Drug ScreenPossess a valid driver's license and valid auto insuranceCaring for people is a labor of love that requires a special person and just the right touch.
