Summary: As a member of the Marketing Team, the Website Owner will oversee and manage the company's websites and online presence from a strategic perspective, for both MAPFRE Insurance as well as our wholly owned subsidiary, Century Automotive Service Corporation. Responsibilities:
- Help achieve digital growth business objectives while providing analysis of SEO opportunities, optimizing content, leading technical revisions to the websites and executing best practice SEO tactics and strategies.
- manage and execute site updates, oversee the publishing process and lead governance and compliance efforts.
- track and analyze data to plan, develop and implement our SEO roadmap with relevant stakeholders and identify deficiencies and offer solutions for improvement.
Skills/Abilities:
- 4-6 years of experience in planning and implementing a successful SEO strategy
- 4-6 years of experience web analytics, content management and website development, including website architecture and wireframing
- Familiarity with A/B and other testing methods
- Google Analytics Certified is a plus
- Expertise and familiarity with WordPress, HTML, CSS, PHP, JSON-LD and JavaScript is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of research principles and methods and experience in analyzing data
- Comprehensive understanding of link building strategies, metadata structure, site speed optimization and information architecture
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
- Excellent content creation and writing skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player with exceptional time-management skills
- Insurance industry experience is a plus
- Experience with websites serving multiple users, including agents, customers, and new business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent, related experience
- 4 - 6 years - or Associates Degree equivalent plus 6 - 8 years
