Job Title: Web Content Developer

Location: Lawrence Township, NJ, 08648

Duration: 6 Month contract with potential to extend

This position is the Senior Specialist within the Commercialization IT organization, accountable for the planning, delivery, operations, and performance analytics of web content management platform capabilities, along with any associated integrations with internal or external systems. This role supports marketing goals and objectives to enhance customer experience and data-driven decision-making.

The individual will primarily partner with the Worldwide Commercialization & IT cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact web content management capabilities and integrate web analytics tools to monitor user engagement, drive optimization, and provide insight into site performance. They will work with product managers to execute expectations and ensure product deliveries are not only deployed effectively but also measurable and aligned with business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the IT matrix team on strategic planning & delivery of the Technical Product (CMS/publishing platforms), and integrate web analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) to support customer engagement insights.

• Support the Product Owner in planning and managing the product roadmap, incorporating measurement frameworks for digital initiatives.

• Collaborate in identifying product gaps and analytics requirements to support data-informed enhancements.

• Manage the building, delivery, operations, and measurement of product features.

• Monitor the quality, performance, and analytics data of product features in real-time; track KPIs and user behavior metrics.

• Perform ongoing maintenance to ensure reliability and scalability of the platform and its data tracking layers.

• Develop and manage the product test plan, including validating data layer specifications and tracking tags.

• Support User Acceptance and Regression Testing; validate analytics tagging is functioning as expected.

• Stay up to date with product features and emerging analytics capabilities.

• Provide guidance and troubleshoot web analytics tagging, site data issues, and content performance concerns.

• Provide basic CSS/JS support for site-specific functionality; assist in writing user stories for analytics enhancements.

• Recommend technology strategies and roadmaps that include measurement, reporting, and optimization capabilities.

• Identify opportunities for optimization based on analytics insights and customer behavior trends.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Web Content Management tools, specifically Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), with a focus on front-end development. Backend experience is a plus.

• Experience integrating and managing web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.

• Experience building or authoring AEM websites and ensuring proper analytics instrumentation.

• Familiarity with tag management systems (e.g., Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager).

• Understand Web development technologies and can debug (CSS, JS code) Support the Product Owner from a technical standpoint to ensure robust, measurable product delivery.

• Manage build, test & deployment processes and validate analytics implementation as part of QA/UAT.

• Help produce dashboards or reports to interpret website performance and content effectiveness.

• Build and manage effective authoring guides and training materials, including documentation of analytics best practices.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, including analytics code/module issues.

• Experience using analytics insights to guide A/B testing, personalization, or content strategy decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 2–5 years of experience in web platforms with measurable marketing outcomes.

• Solid understanding of digital analytics, data capture strategies, and performance optimization.

• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with the Pharmaceutical Industry and regulated digital environments is a plus.

• Strong business sense and knowledge of the digital marketing and analytics landscape.
