As an Application Architect, you will be responsible for presenting and implementing enterprise technology architecture solutions, including complex data structures, integrations, networking, and security. You will play a pivotal role in translating future-state business capabilities into solution architecture requirements and designing APIs for various applications. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating and maintaining IT/InfoSec policies and procedures, estimating the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve long-term business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Present enterprise technology architecture solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
- Translate future-state business capabilities into solution architecture requirements
- Design and develop APIs for a variety of applications
- Identify opportunities to simplify code, improve architectures, and reduce vendor dependencies
- Create and maintain IT/InfoSec policies and procedures
- Influence and guide stakeholders and peers across IT
- Estimate financial impact of solution architecture alternatives
- Solve business problems and propose solutions creatively and analytically

Proficiencies:
- Extensive experience in application development methodologies and design patterns
- Expertise in integration technologies
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile/Scrum/Iterative, Rapid Prototyping, Incremental, and DevOps
- Experience with technologies including C#/.Net, Python, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, SQL, SSAS, Star/Snowflake/Relation DB designs, Azure DevOps, Azure, AWS, OAuth, SAML
- Understanding of Azure Active Directory and SSO
- Expertise with PowerShell
- Experience with web hosting (IIS, Apache)
- Expertise with MS Windows OS operating systems, with Linux knowledge being a plus
- Knowledge and understanding of different modeling languages such as UML
- Experience and knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
- High level of Security Awareness
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in developing Enterprise Solution Designs
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or 8 years related field experience
