The Private Wealth Management (PWM) business provides end-to-end investment management services and advice across a broad range of asset classes for high net worth individuals. PWM leverages a global technology platform offering, an integrated suite of tools, and applications to onboard clients. Our software helps realize a client's goals and objectives, develops and implements an integrated wealth management plan, and delivers first-class client service. PWM Digital engineers develop integrated, web and mobile solutions, and strategic middleware services that provide PWM Sales Teams and Clients with detailed portfolio information, analytics, social collaboration platforms, online trading capabilities, asset transfers, payments, and access to GS services and insights. Our engineers build solutions to complex problems and work at the forefront of technological innovation alongside industry leaders, making significant contributions to the field.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic team of engineers supporting the trading platform on Goldman.com, the firm's award-winning public website.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, including product teams, UX & visual design teams, and various engineering groups, to build a state-of-the-art online trading platform that enables PWM clients to trade across asset classes in global markets.

Skills and Experience We Are Looking For
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, REST web services, and building Service Oriented Architectures.
  • Proficiency in designing, developing, and testing cross-platform software; willingness to learn new languages.
  • Experience in deploying and supporting software across the full Continuous Delivery lifecycle.
  • Solid experience with version control, CI/CD tools, deployment, and configuration management.
  • Ability to understand, debug, and improve existing and new software.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral, and strong interpersonal skills for collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Multiple years of experience designing and developing REST-based enterprise web services in Java.
  • Understanding of version control strategies like GIT, SVN, and CI tools like Jenkins.
  • Experience with Test Driven Development and contract-first approaches.
  • Experience debugging and optimizing application performance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
