Position Type: Educational Support Staff (Non Certified)/After School Library Monitor Date Posted: 9/26/2025 Location: District Date Available: ASAP Closing Date: 10/06/2025 TITLE: After School Library Monitor 5 days a week / 1.5 hours per day RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. A single staff individual shall be identified and appointed for a mutual agreement between the Board and the Library. 2. Services are limited to days school is in session for one and one-half hours immediately upon the closing of the day (2:30pm - 4:00pm) at the Wayne High Schools Staff services are compensated at $35.00 per each day identified, to be equitably split between the Board and the Library. 3. Staff appointed by Board resolution shall complete a timesheet daily in compliance with law. 4. Staff shall make known his/her presence on a daily basis, and the Library Administration (Director, Business Administrator or Assistant Administrator) shall initial the Timesheet daily, and sign at the end of the pay period. 5. The Staff member shall move in areas frequented by students providing assistance in public library demeanor, and appropriate internet research. 6. The Staff will keep the Board and the Library advised of any problems requiring further intervention. 7. This assignment shall be in effect from the beginning of September through the end of June, for days when school is in session, and not inclusive of snow days or days closed in lieu of snow days, holidays, etc. 8. The Board will be reimbursed by the Library in an amount of one-half (1/2) of each day worked upon verification by mutual signatures on the timesheets and upon presentation to the Library by the Board of an invoice for such services.
