Watermaster - Imperial Irrigation District : Job Details

Under general supervision, plans, organizes, and directs water reporting and dispatching functions in the water department; prepares advance estimates of water requirements, checks to fill district's master schedule of flow; checks, adds or withdraws water from accessible canal storage. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree with a major in agricultural science, mathematics or related degree and five years of progressively responsible water dispatching experience. Progressively responsible directly related experience may be substituted for the required education at the ratio of two years of experience for one year of education in progressively responsible water dispatching experience.
