Waterborne Scheduler - Commodity Trading - Aurex Group : Job Details

Aurex Group is working with a global commodity trading firm seeking an experienced Operator/Scheduler to join their Houston team.

Overview:

• This person will have a broad scope of responsibilities related to marine operations, logistics, and scheduling for commodities.
• This role will support the trading desk and sit within the Operations teams. Coordinating and assisting with logistics and operations.
• Provide relevant market information to the trading desk as well as helping with analysis, as requested.
• Manage post-deal processes & procedures. Liaising and management of daily activities from origin to destination, including coordinating amongst various clients and counterparties, including terminal operators, engineers, field personnel, customers, trading, and logistics.

Qualifications

• We are looking for 4+ years of experience in a relevant trading, shipping, or commercial commodities environment.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience within a commodity trading firm required.
• Strong communication skills.
• High level of customer service, stakeholder management, and drive. Adaptable and able to thrive in a deadline-driven business.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
