Water/Wastewater Project Manager - Precision Recruiters : Job Details

Our client is seeking a Project Leader for the Public Works Department in one of our Austin, TX offices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
• Registered PE in Texas required or can be acquired through reciprocity within 6 months of hire
• Experience working in public works and/or municipal services projects
• Previous project management (or right hand to PM) experience in water/wastewater, pipelines, lift stations, and pump stations
• Comfortable with verbal and non-verbal (electronic) communication to clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders

Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering and project management work on a variety of civil engineering projects related to water and wastewater systems including modeling, pipeline, lift stations and pump station facilities
• Oversee the performance of multiple engineers and their teams
• Perform, coordinate and oversee the completion of various engineering tasks by technical staff and subconsultants
• Lead project teams on simultaneous assignments
• Supervise and mentor engineers, designers and technicians
• Manage the quality, timeliness, and financial aspects of projects
• Serve as point of contact for clients
• Partner with senior staff in developing and maintaining client relationships
• Lead or support the development of project pursuits, proposals, and interviews
