Our client is seeking a Project Leader for the Public Works Department in one of our Austin, TX offices.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
- Registered PE in Texas required or can be acquired through reciprocity within 6 months of hire
- Experience working in public works and/or municipal services projects
- Previous project management (or right hand to PM) experience in water/wastewater, pipelines, lift stations, and pump stations
- Comfortable with verbal and non-verbal (electronic) communication to clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering and project management work on a variety of civil engineering projects related to water and wastewater systems including modeling, pipeline, lift stations and pump station facilities
- Oversee the performance of multiple engineers and their teams
- Perform, coordinate and oversee the completion of various engineering tasks by technical staff and subconsultants
- Lead project teams on simultaneous assignments
- Supervise and mentor engineers, designers and technicians
- Manage the quality, timeliness, and financial aspects of projects
- Serve as point of contact for clients
- Partner with senior staff in developing and maintaining client relationships
- Lead or support the development of project pursuits, proposals, and interviews
