We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Water/Wastewater PM Lead to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This leadership role will focus on the planning, design, and management of municipal water, wastewater, and water reuse projects. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of engineering principles, a strong network of local clients, and a proven track record of successful project delivery and team development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Texas.
- 15+ years of relevant experience in water, wastewater, and water reuse engineering design.
- Extensive knowledge of municipal water/wastewater infrastructure planning, distribution, collection, and treatment.
- Demonstrated experience in the Texas market, including established client relationships.
- Proven success in supporting business development, including proposal writing and client engagement.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing budgets, schedules, and teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Passion for client engagement and business growth.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team.
- Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in team environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage municipal water/wastewater/reuse projects from concept to completion.
- Maintain and expand trusted client relationships through regular engagement and delivery excellence.
- Drive new business opportunities, contributing to at least $1M in new design sales annually.
- Manage design and construction projects with annual revenues exceeding $3M.
- Ensure high-quality, ethical, and safe execution of all project work in alignment with company values.
- Provide technical leadership to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop staff to strengthen the team's capabilities and performance.
- Oversee financial performance of projects to ensure consistent profitability.
- Stay compliant with internal business practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Represent the company at industry events and participate in professional associations.
- Maintain active P.E. licensure in Texas throughout employment.
