Job Title: Water/Wastewater EngineerLocation: Orange County, CA (On-site)Experience Level: IntermediateWork Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a mid-level Water/Wastewater Engineer to support the planning, design, and construction of wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in civil or environmental engineering and a passion for water and wastewater systems.Key Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for wastewater projects.
• Ensure adherence to project budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.
• Perform data entry and analysis, and support projects through the construction phase.
• Supervise or coordinate work of junior engineers, drafters, and technicians.
• Design outside-the-fence infrastructure such as pipelines, pump stations, and reclaimed water systems.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling and field inspections.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 6–12 years of experience in water/wastewater projects.
• Experience in planning, design, and construction of wastewater treatment facilities.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in California or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work within budget and schedule constraints.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering.
• Familiarity with local utility codes and permitting processes.
• Experience with site design, construction oversight, and contract negotiation.
• Knowledge of hydraulic modeling software and treatment plant design.
